ASUP Films invites students to step into the land of Oz with a screening of “Wicked: Part One.” The event will take place in the Buckley Center Auditorium on Sunday, Nov. 16 at 9 p.m.
In addition to free concessions, the first 50 students in line who can show that they follow ASUP Films on Instagram will receive an invitation to a private advanced screening of “Wicked: For Good” on Nov. 19 at 6:30 p.m.
ASUP Films Director Franky Sotelo says the screening intends to build community among students, while also creating a free theater experience.
According to Sotelo, the second part of the “Wicked” franchise will be one of the most popular movies of the year, which makes it the perfect screening event for ASUP Films.
