Daily Mass relocates to Christie Hall during Chapel construction
Due to a restoration project on the baptismal font in the Chapel of Christ the Teacher, daily Mass at 12:05 p.m. will be relocated to the Christie Hall Chapel beginning Oct. 9.

First-year commuter student enrollment has risen at UP this fall, signaling a shift in how incoming students are navigating college expenses and the appeal of staying closer to home. Based on an all-student report from the Shepard Academic Resource Center, there are currently 147 first-year students not living on campus, compared to 75 students from fall 2024.

Asphalt economics: UP raises cost of parking permits
Parking is an ongoing discussion on campus, and this semester is no exception as students raise concerns about the University increasing the cost of parking permits by nearly 50%. The cost rose from $180 a year for a student parking permit to $290. In response to this decision, a student-organized petition circulated the UP community with over 250 signatures calling for a price reduction.
