Meet the ASUP 2026-27 candidates
The Associated Students of the University of Portland (ASUP) 2026-27 elections are here to decide the leaders who will make decisions affecting student life, programming services and budget allocations. All students can electronically cast their vote for one candidate per category via Engage between March 17 at 7 a.m. and March 18 at 7 p.m., according to Thomas Manibusan, ASUP elections chair and director of the Campus Program Board (CPB).

Campus Safety warns of trespasser on campus
In a Feb. 26 email, Michael McNerney, director of campus safety and emergency management, warned the community of a trespassing individual identified as Kelijah Warren. Warren was allegedly approaching students on campus, engaging in promotional activities without approval and making inappropriate comments to some students, according to the email.
This professor turned his office into a tech history museum
The museum holds a combination of Anctil’s personal items and donations. Located in his office in Franz Hall 427, the collection is not only a conversation starter but a resource for class lectures.
Students, staff and faculty ‘March for Solidarity’
On Feb. 5, approximately 180 students, staff and faculty participated in the “March for Solidarity” to support community members impacted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activity.
