The UP Career Center is hosting a three-part series job search workshop for seniors starting this Thursday, Nov. 3rd from 3-4 p.m..

This workshop will help seniors prepare for life after graduation in a variety of ways. The workshop will cover tools and resources for creating a post-graduation plan, the most effective strategies to search for a job, the role of making connections in a job search, how to prepare for interviews and how to tell your professional story through resume writing, interviewing and networking.

The workshop consists of three hour-long sessions from 3-4 p.m. on the following Thursdays: Nov. 3, 10 and 17 in Franz Hall room 120. It is expected that if signed up, you attend all three sessions. Sign ups can be found at this link before it starts. Registration is limited.

If you cannot attend, this same workshop series will be offered in the Spring. The Career Center will also have virtual and in-person appointments available over winter break and can be scheduled on Handshake.

For additional immediate help, the Career Center has walk-in-hours every Monday-Wednesday from 2-4 p.m, and every Thursday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Students can always schedule an appointment on Handshake to meet with a Career Center counselor and/or browse the Career Center homepage for more career and networking resources.
