This Saturday, the Campus Program Board (CPB) is hosting a virtual concert series featuring artists Kingsley, Reva Devito and Lennon Stella

What has historically been Rock the Bluff in the Spring semester has shifted into a virtual concert series aimed at helping students who are not in the Portland area to reconnect with both the UP and greater Portland communities.

“At the University of Portland, we have plenty of students who are from all over the United States, and with online learning, they can't really experience campus or Portland in and of itself,” Berto Mujica, a CPB coordinator said. “So we thought one of the cool ways that we can help with that ‘homesickness’ is by bringing the music of Portland to our student body.”

Two of the three performers, Kingsley and Reva Devito, are from the Portland area.

In light of the current social movements taking place around the nation, coordinators for this event also wanted to highlight and give a platform to women and BIPOC performers.

“In the beginning of the summer when we were starting to plan, we definitely wanted to expand the pool of Rock the Bluff performers,” Mujica said. “In the past we've mostly only had white males.”

The Reva Devito live stream is at 2:30 p.m.

The Kingsley live stream is at 5:30 p.m.

The Lennon Stella live stream is at 7:30 p.m.
