BREAKING NEWS: A shooting occurred at Umpqua Community College this morning. Early reports say that 10 people were killed and more than 20 were injured. Roseburg is about 175 miles, or three hours, south of Portland.
At 11:53 a.m. Oregon State Police reported via CNN that the alleged shooter is dead. This is an ongoing crisis and much of the information reported is unconfirmed. The Roseburg newspaper is providing real time updates. CNN is also providing livestream coverage.
