Gustav's German Pub & Grill, located at 5035 NE Sandy Blvd. in the Hollywood district of Portland, is a top-tier German restaurant. The beer–hall– themed restaurant not only has a great German atmosphere, but they also make the most "lecker" (German for delicious) food in the land.

Begin with the fondue, then choose from a number of classic German dishes like Jagerschnitzel, Kraut roulade and German potato pancakes with brautwurst. They also have group meals where you can order one of their four "family feasts."

Most importantly, you must know about the beer. Even if you are not typically a big fan of beer, you must try some of the tasty traditional German lagers and ales Gustav's has to offer.

This is not your traditional watered-down Bud Light or your super trendy PBR. Just as with the food, anything you order to drink is sure to hit the spot. You can even drink from a stein - how cool is that?! Classic German beers like Spaten Oktoberfest, Warsteiner Dunkel and Franziskaner Hefe-Weisse are sure to put your usual drink of choice to shame.

If you are looking for a good time with mass quantities of delicious food and beer then Gustav's is the place for you. If you are not the type to branch out to German cuisine, classic cheeseburgers and American beer are also on the menu, as well as gluten free and vegetarian options.
