While the final details are still falling into place, Associate Athletic Director Jason Brough has confirmed that UP will allow Blazer forward LaMarcus Aldridge to host an exhibition game in the Chiles Center on Nov. 6.

"Pending final contractual obligations that will be worked out very soon, the plan is to hold the LaMarcus Aldridge exhibition game on November 6th with tip off at 7:30," Brough said. "We'll release ticket info, prices and participating players when everything is finalized."

Rumors of an exhibition game began to circulate on Oct. 9 when Aldridge asked "What do y'all think about me having a basketball game in the city of Portland???" via his Twitter account.

Following Aldridge's tweet, UP men's basketball head coach Eric Reveno offered the Chiles Center as a possible location for the game.

According to Aldridge's Twitter, Kevin Durant, fellow Blazer Wesley Matthews and Jamal Crawford have agreed to participate in the game. Because of the ongoing lockout and the fact that NBA stadiums are contractually tied to their teams, the Rose Garden was not an option.
