UP campus reopens on Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m.

As Portland anticipates freezing rain through Tuesday night, campus will remain closed until Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m. according to an email from Vice President of Financial Affairs, Eric Barger.

Classes taking place before 10 a.m. will not be held on campus and students are expected to check Moodle for an updated plan from their professors. 

The Pilot House, Bauccio Commons and the Clark Library will be open starting at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. The Beauchamp Health and Wellness Center will resume normal hours from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. 

“Everyone is urged to exercise caution and stay safe,” Barger said in the email. “We will continue to monitor the situation and will send another communication if it becomes necessary to delay tomorrow’s opening further.”
