Bring your blankets, Scooby Snacks and 1970s outfits because ASUP Films and Pilots After Dark are presenting the 2002 “Scooby-Doo” movie to thrill UP community members. The Mystery Gang will appear on the silver screen at Shipstad field on Saturday, Sept. 16 at 9 p.m.

Frank Sotelo, the ASUP films director, wants to build community by showing films in ways that are unavailable through traditional cinemas and streaming services.

“I want to highlight bringing the silver screen to life on campus,” Sotelo said.

Students can immerse themselves in the world of “Scooby-Doo” by experiencing the hallmarks of the franchise. Spam musubi will be catered along with a host of other snacks and a photo booth will be provided with a special appearance by the Mystery Machine.

Student’s activity fees help cover the costs of the event, so there’s no need to be spooked about admission prices.
