The Associated Students of the University of Portland (ASUP) are hosting a COVID-19 town hall on Dec. 2 at 5 p.m. Vice President for Student Affairs Fr. John Donato, Director of Residence Life Andrew Weingarten, Interim Vice President for Financial Affairs Eric Barger and others will be attending the meeting to address students’ questions concerning next semester’s partial reopening, according to ASUP President Sage Taylor.

This meeting is scheduled to last about an hour, and will be moderated by junior economics major Grace Adams. Most of the administrators in attendance have been assigned to the University’s COVID-19 Steering Committee.

“My hope is that the answers given here will provide reassurance to students that returning to campus next semester is safe,” Taylor said.

All students are welcome, and questions do not need to be submitted in advance. Parents and family members are welcome to listen in, but the meeting is designed for students.
