New faculty arrive on The Bluff

Daeheon Choi is a new visiting business instructor. He specializes in technology and operations management.
Originally from South Korea, Choi first came to the U.S. to attend Texas A&M University, where he got his master's in engineering in 2006. He is currently working toward his Ph.D. in business at the University of Washington, and will graduate in December.
Choi said he first wanted to be a teacher because his father was a teacher, and he wanted to influence students' lives in the sphere of business. Choi said that everyone at UP is very friendly, and that even though the university is small, there is strong teaching happening. "So far, so good," he said.
