Many at UP know that nursing majors are quite common, but did you know, according to the "Institutional Research: Enrollment by Majors" page on the UP website, that nursing has more than double the amount of students than the second most popular major, biology?
According to the data available on the site, the top five most populated majors have seen a drastic increase in size over the past decade. In fact, the nursing program was less than half its current size just 10 years ago. The rest of the majors have all experienced pretty consistent enrollment numbers in recent years.
