Spring Break Diaries - Los Angeles

Spring Break '07 kicked off at 4 a.m. Saturday morning as Noel Peterson and Beth Herman made their way to Los Angeles. (Shout out to Mary Catey for the pre-dawn ride.) After meeting Seanna Halligan at the Peterson pad, the girls began their week of strolling the streets of fame and glory. As a nice introduction to Los Angeles, the girls joined Fr. Beauchamp and his admission homies for a "small family dinner" hosted by Noel Peterson's grandparents (Noel opted to leave this part of the trip out in order to surprise Beth and Seanna with a little UP lovin').

The girls invited Fr. Bill to join them at the beach the next day, but he couldn't miss his tee-time - and too bad, as he surely missed out! Noel, Beth and Seanna spent the next week lying in the sun at Venice Beach, shopping on Melrose, attending concerts, stopping by the Velvet Margarita in Hollywood for "Margarita Monday," going to the famous Getty museum, casting themselves as extras in the newest Will Ferrell movie (they were not allowed to release any information to The Beacon concerning the film), and finally making it to Disneyland.

After such a busy week, on top of the stress of freeway confusions (as a group of UP boys can attest after meeting up with the girls one evening), B.N.S., as they called themselves in Hollywood, decided to wra up the vacation with a couple bottles of wine, Sun Chips and a bag of jellybeans (a typical B.N.S. meal). Get ready to get real L.A., Noel, Beth and Seanna just might come back!
