The Commons can be pretty intimidating, not only because it’s filled with dozens of students aimlessly wandering around but because the system itself is confusing if you’ve never used it before.

Maybe Bon Appetit was trying to test our brain cells as we wander in at 9 a.m., with groggy, scrambled brains, looking for scrambled eggs.

At first it may seem impossible to get the hang of eating at UP’s main dining area. You might even avoid it entirely. But your arteries will not survive an all-Pilot House Farm Burger diet, so let us walk you through the basics of ordering at The Commons.
