VIDEO: What does diversity mean to you?
In honor of Diversity Dialogues, The Beacon asked the UP community what diversity means to them and why they think it’s important. This past week and next week, various clubs and organizations are hosting events to celebrate diversity and start conversations about diversity on campus. Here is a calendar of events.

VIDEO: UP students play Overrated/Underrated

Watch the video to see the results.
VIDEO: Did you vote? Midterm elections conclude Tuesday
With only one day until the midterm elections conclude, The Beacon went around campus to ask students whether or not they voted. Millennials make up a third of eligible voters, so we wanted to see how many millennials on campus have casted their votes. Some states, like Oregon, are seeing a historic turnout for this year’s midterm election. There is still one more day to turn in your ballots
