Every so often, a Beauchamp instructor develops a nickname and a devoted following. Some seniors on campus may remember “Zumba Joe” from several years ago. This year, say hello to UP’s hip-hop instructor “Hip-Hop Kyle.” Senior Kyle Dela Cruz teaches hip-hop in Beauchamp on Tuesday nights from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The Beacon went to one of his classes to learn more about his background in hip hop and watch him in action.
