Juniors Arran Fagan and Jack Pfeffer, and sophomore Jonathan Wiley will play the Doug Fir Lounge Monday, May 1 and Seattle’s Sunset Tavern on Wednesday, May 3.

The band will be opening up for Leif Vollebekk, a singer-songwriter based out of Montreal. Vollebekk’s song “Elegy” was recently featured in NPR’s series “Songs We Love”.

“Playing two shows during finals week probably isn’t the best idea,” Fagan said. “Playing one of those shows in Seattle after our finals on Wednesday and then coming back the same night after our set for 8 a.m. finals Thursday definitely isn’t a good idea. But it sure is going to be a lot of fun and totally worth it.”

Fagan, Pfeffer and Wiley began performing together the latter half of last year. The folk trio found success playing shows on campus and house shows throughout Portland.

The trio is also recording an album slated to drop in October. You can check out their free EP on Bandcamp. Tickets for the concert in Portland are sold here.

The Beacon recorded a KDUP Tiny House Concert with Arran & Co. last January. Check it out along with a Q+A here!
