UPDATE: Due to limited staffing because of the weather, the Pilot House will be closing early and Bon Appetit will only be serving dinner in The Commons, according to General Manager Kirk Mustain. Dinner will be served until 7:30 p.m. Normal hours and operations are expected to resume Friday, weather permitting.

Provost Thomas Greene sent an email Thursday afternoon that all University classes and events are cancelled as of 12:30 p.m. due to weather.

The national weather service issued a winter storm warning at 5:30 a.m. that is active until this evening stating,"A Winter Storm Warning for snow and freezing rain remains in effect from 8 AM this morning to midnight PST tonight."

Greene's email advises students to check the UP website tomorrow morning for information on whether classes will resume.
